Your profile

Education:

• Bachelors degree, required, degree with a focus in Accounting/Taxation, preferred
• MST/MBT preferred

Experience:

• 3+ years of recent experience, with a focus on audit and/or transaction advisory
• Previous experience with acquisitions, divestitures, and/or financial due diligence
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, with experience analyzing financial statements and projections

License/Certifications:

• CPA (or international equivalent) preferred

Software:

• Proficient in the use of, Excel and PowerPoint, including financial modeling

Other Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Strong verbal and written communications skills
• Aptitude for creatively solving problems and fixing things through critical and outside the box thinking
• Solid organizational skills, especially ability to meet project deadlines with a focus on details
• Capable of successfully multi-tasking while working within independently or within a team environment
• Ability to successfully interact with professionals at all levels

Your mission

• Participate in buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence engagements with both private equity and strategic corporate buyers
• Perform quality of earnings
• Analyze the financial operations of the target companies and identify issues that may impact the purchase price
• Understand and evaluate financial and operational trends of target companies
• Communicate due diligence findings in a formal report
• Interact with the other functional areas of the practice including tax, audit, and other consulting practices
• Maintain active communication with clients to manage their expectations, ensure client satisfaction, and make sure both firm and client deadlines are met
